1975 Topps Mini Hall of Famers and Stars PSA-Graded Collection Including 12 PSA MINT 9 (69 Cards)

Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $5,581

Collection of sixty-nine extremely high grade 1975 Topps Mini baseball cards, including thirteen George Brett rookies and five Robin Yount rookies, each graded and encapsulated by PSA with no qualifiers. Twelve cards are graded PSA MINT 9, fifty-three cards are graded NM-MT 8, and four are graded PSA NM 7. These sixty-nine high-grade cards were found stored away in Charlie Conlon's collection. Each card was obviously carefully picked from thousands of pack-fresh 1975 Topps Mini cards with the goal of finding the sharpest, cleanest, and most perfectly centered examples, probably pulled directly from packs that Charlie opened just for fun. The PSA grades are as follows (quantities in parentheses): MINT 9: #1 Aaron, 70 Schmidt, 194 (2), 223 Yount RC (2), 228 Brett RC, 320 Rose, 370 Seaver, 560 Perez, and 620 Carter RC (2). NM-MT 8: #2 Brock (3), 20 Munson (2), 50 Robinson, 60 Jenkins (2), 70 Schmidt (3), 140 Garvey (2), 185 Carlton (2), 193, 194 (3), 195, 211, 223 Yount RC (3), 228 Brett RC (10), 280 Yastrzemski (3), 300 Jackson (2), 312 Ryan/Carlton, 320 Rose (2), 335 Palmer (2), 600 Carew (2), 616 Rice RC (2), 620 Carter RC, 622 Lynn RC, 623 Hernandez RC, and 640 Killebrew (2). NM 7: #7, two 228 Brett RC, and 500 Ryan. This is a tremendous selection of ultra high-grade 1975 Topps cards (one of the 1970s' most condition-sensitive sets), with substantial break value, and many cards that could make a significant contribution to, or provide potential upgrades for, a serious high-grade 1975 Topps set. The SMR value for this group is $5,792. Total 69 cards. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000+. SOLD FOR $5,581
