1971 Topps Baseball 4th-6th Series Unopened Vending Box - GAI NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $2,000, Sold For - $11,163

Original unopened vending box of 1971 Topps baseball, graded NM-MT 8 by GAI. The box contains approximately 500 cards, from the 4th through the 6th series (#394-752), which includes Hall of Famers Hank Aaron, Nolan Ryan, Ernie Banks, Willie Mays, Roberto Clemente, Frank Robinson, etc. The black flush-to-the-border design of the 1971 Topps set makes this issue particularly challenging to collect in extremely high grade. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to the grading of unopened material, it would be hard to imagine that this box does not include a generous supply of Mint 9s and perhaps Gem Mint 10s. This high-grade unopened vending box looks exactly as they did when it left the Topps factory in 1971. Reserve $2,000. Estimate $4,000+. SOLD FOR $11,163
