This is part of an extraordinary complete set of 1963 Topps cards, by far the finest we have ever seen or offered (PSA Registry Set #6), which we have broken down into smaller lots. We have organized the PSA MINT 9 cards by the quantity listed in the PSA Population Report. All of these cards have a population of only three to five examples graded at this level with none graded higher. This collection of spectacular MINT examples consists of the following: #14, 15 Hubbs, 166, 222 Cubs team, 247 Yankees team, 277, and 323 Mazeroski. As of this writing, all seven of the cards in this lot are the highest-graded examples to date. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets. This is an extremely high grade collection of seven 1963 Topps baseball cards, each the highest-graded and finest example known to exist. Total 7 cards. Reserve $1,000. Estimate (open).
