1950s to 1970s Topps Set Collection (4 sets, 835 cards)

Collection of four complete sets spanning the years from the earliest days of Topps to the early 1970s. These sets are perfect for a collector who appreciates cards from the "golden era" of the early 1950s all the way to more modern times, but does not want to spend a fortune. Four quality sets, including several unusual Topps classics, each very substantial and representing an outstanding collecting value: 1) 1951 Topps Red Backs Complete Set (52 cards): Eighteen cards range from Vg-Ex to Ex, and thirty-four cards are Vg (includes a few slightly lesser). Keys: #1 Berra (Gd), 5 Rizzuto (Vg), 8 Wynn (Ex), 15 Kiner (Vg), 20 DiMaggio (Vg), 22 Feller (Vg-Ex), 30 Spahn (Vg-Ex), 31 Hodges (Vg), 36A Zernial/Chi. (Vg), 38 Snider (Vg), 39 Kluszewski (Vg), 50 Irvin (Vg), 52A Holmes/Bos. (Gd). 2) 1964 Topps Giants Complete Set (60 cards): Forty-nine cards are Nr/Mt, and eleven cards are slightly lesser. Keys: #3 Koufax SP (Ex), 11 Clemente (Ex-Mt), 25 Mantle (Nr/Mt), 49 Aaron (Ex), 51 Mays SP (Nr/Mt), and 60 Skowron SP (Nr/Mt). 3) 1971 Topps Super Complete Set (63 cards): Fifty-three cards range from Ex to Ex-Mt and ten cards are slightly lesser grades. Keys: #20 Rose (Ex), 32 Bench (Ex), 37 Clemente (Ex), 38 Jackson (Vg), 44 Aaron (Gd), 49 Yaz (Ex), 53 Seaver (Gd-Vg), 54 Kaline (Gd), 56 Mays (Vg-Ex), and 59 Robinson (Vg-Ex). 4) 1973 Topps Complete Set (660 cards): 5% Nr/Mt, 34% Ex to Ex-Mt, 61% Vg to Vg-Ex. Keys: #1 Ruth/Mays/Aaron (Ex), 50 Clemente (Ex-Mt), 100 Aaron (Ex-Mt), 220 Ryan (25/75 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt), 305 Mays (Ex), 615 Schmidt RC (no left border, otherwise Ex).
