1912 T202 Hassan Triple Folders PSA NM 7 Collection (8)
Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $4,406
Collection of eight 1912 T202 Hassan Triple Folders in extraordinarily high grade. This is an outstanding group. Each card has been graded NM 7 by PSA. In the following condition composite, identifying card numbers are referenced from the numbers provided by the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards checklist: #17 Archer/McIntyre, 18 Archer/Overall, 42 Daubert/Hummel, 51 Dooin/Magee, 93 Dooin/Lobert, 114 Latham/Raymond, 119 Egan/Hoblitzel, and 120 Turner/Birmingham. If normal wear and tear is not enough to worry about on cards dating from 1912, because of their unusual design, there is literally a laundry list of additional potential problems for T202s that almost always cause these cards to be graded harshly: centering, miscuts, print specs, "spider" creases, poor registration, a vertical "shadow" line center crease, etc. Each of these T202s has a NM-MT appearance. All are perfectly crisp, extremely clean both front and back, with flawless color, sharp corners, and no creases. These cards have been culled from a much larger group based solely on condition. This small group of eight cards would make a significant contribution to any high-grade T202 Triple Folders set or collection. The SMR value for these eight cards in the assigned grades is $5,800. Total 8 cards. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000/$4,000+. SOLD FOR $4,406
