1909-1911 T206 Frank Smith PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $940

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. One of five examples graded at this level with just two graded higher. This stunning ultra high-grade T206 example of Frank Smith (Chicago Amer) displays strong square corners, a bright, clean image, with vivid colors, and is centered slightly to the left border (approximately 40/60, due in part, perhaps, to its appearing to be a particulary wide card). The reverse is perfectly clean with a boldly printed Sweet Caporal advertisement. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. SMR is $850. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $940
