Extraordinary high-grade complete set of 1958 Parkhurst "Missiles & Satellites." Each card depicts a scene related to space satellites or military defense missiles. This is a particularly fascinating set as the subject matter on these trading cards for kids reflects the Cold War issues of the day. The late 1950s was a time of great concentration and progress on all military and space-related projects. The entire set of fifty-five cards has been graded and encapsulated by PSA. The complete PSA condition composite follows: One MINT 9: #39. Six NM-MT+ 8.5: #15, 17, 31, 41, 42, and 46. Ten NM-MT 8: #5, 8, 18 (ST), 23, 24, 28, 30, 34, 37, and 38. Nine NM+ 7.5: #2, 4, 7, 10, 27, 35, 47, 48, and 49. Eleven NM 7: #3, 9, 11, 14 (ST), 20, 21 (ST), 32 (ST), 33 (ST), 40, 43, and 44. Four EX-MT 6: #1, 13, 16, and 26.
