Joe Medwick Single-Signed Ball

Starting Bid - $300.00 , Sold For - $705.00

Official “Pony League” ball signed by Hall of Fame outfielder Joe “Ducky” Medwick. Medwick has boldly scripted his name in blue fountain pen (grading “9”) across the sweet spot. Joe Medwick single-signed balls are very scarce. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1968 and he passed away in 1975, years before collecting single-signed Hall of Fame balls became recognized as the ideal standard by so many collectors. On the side panel above his name, Medwick has also added the personalization, “To Allen.” Extremely clean. Displays magnificently. This offered ball is an exceptional example and one that would be worthy of any world-class single-signed Hall of Fame ball collection. Near Mint condition. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $705.00
