1935 New York Giants Team-Signed Ball with Mel Ott

Remarkably clean and bright Official National League (Frick) ball signed in black ink by the following twenty-four members of the 1935 New York Giants: Ott (“9”), Terry (Mgr., sweet spot, “8”), Jackson (“8”), Hubbell (“3”), Stout, Smith, Parmelee, Fitzsimmons, Cuccinello, Danning, Critz, Chagnon, Myatt, Luque, Mancuso, Gabler, Bartell, Castleman, Moore, Weintraub, Koenig, Schumacher, Davis, and Leiber. Signatures range in grade from “3” to “9,” averaging “7.” 1930s team balls are rarely found in such outstanding condition. That fact, coupled with the magnificent Mel Ott signature on the side panel, make this a truly exceptional team-signed ball dating from one of the greatest eras in New York Giants team history. The ball has been coated with a very light layer of protective shellac. All of the manufacturer’s labels remain bold and legible. In Excellent to Mint condition. LOA from James Spence/JSA.
