1954 Wilson Franks Bob Feller PSA NM 7

Starting Bid - $500.00 , Sold For - $1,762.50

Graded NM 7 by PSA. Magnificent high-grade example Bob Feller, one of the key cards from the very popular Wilson Franks set. The Wilson Franks set is highly prized by collectors as one of the most attractive and desirable of all 1950s regional issues. In an era dominated by bubble-gum card sets featuring hundreds of players, the distinctive and beautifully designed Wilson Franks, with only twenty cards, each featuring a package of hot dogs in the background, stands out. The Bob Feller card from this set is all the more significant, not just as one of the key stars in the set, but as one of the most sought-after of all Bob Feller cards. Crisp and clean, with a well-focused image, four sharp corners, bright colors, and a flawless reverse. The slightly low centering may have kept this card from a higher PSA grade. The SMR value for the assigned grade is $1,850. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500+. SOLD FOR $1,762.50
