This is an impressive-looking medium-grade partial set with several significant highlights including particularly attractive examples of key cards Joe DiMaggio and Stan Musial. The Honus Wagner card in the 1948 Leaf set (of which there are three examples in this lot) has always been a favorite with collectors as he is pictured with chewing tobacco. The SMR value for just the DiMaggio and Musial graded cards (not including the 76 other cards in the collection) is $2,100. Total 78 cards. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000/$3,000+. SOLD FOR $3,818.75
