Graded NM 7 by PSA. Extremely high-grade example of Hall of Famer Lefty Grove from the 1934 Goudey series. This 1934 Goudey #19 Lefty Grove is exceptionally crisp and clean, both front and back, with four sharp corners, centered very slightly to the bottom (approximately 60/40 T/B), and with a flawless reverse with bold green lettering. One of baseball's fiercest competitors, Lefty Grove was an integral part of the Philadelphia Athletics dynasty of 1929 to 1931. He won an astounding nine ERA titles and led his league in wins four times, registering a lifetime total of exactly 300 wins. This is a very high grade example of one of Grove's most desirable cards.
