1933 to 1954 Hall of Famer PSA-Graded Collection (3)

Starting Bid - $300.00 , Sold For - $1,645.00

Collection of three cards of key Hall of Famers, each a longtime card-collecting classic, from three different highly regarded 1933-1954 issues. We have submitted each card to PSA for grading: 1) 1933 R319 Goudey: #149 Babe Ruth (GOOD 2 [MK]; solid low-grade example of the "Bambino" qualified by PSA because of a tiny ink mark on the reverse). 2) 1936 R327 Diamond Stars: #99 Pie Traynor (VG 3; key rare HOF high-number card, centered to the left border, with bright colors, evenly rounded corners, very sharp registration, and a couple of very light surface creases. Great-looking card, especially for this grade). 3) 1954 Bowman: #66 Ted Williams (VG 3; excellent appearance, downgraded due to a couple of light creases. We grade this card Vg/Vg-Ex). This is an impressive-looking mid-grade trio of key Hall of Famers from three significant card sets. Total 3 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $1,645.00
