Collection of six scarce key cards from the popular T206 White Border series, each graded and encapsulated by SGC. These are six of the cards which make completing a T206 set so difficult. All six of these cards, since the earliest days of organized collecting, have been recognized as among the rarest in the set. 1) George Brown - Washington (VG 40. Bright and crisp, with evenly rounded corners, deep, rich colors, virtually perfect registration, and a couple light creases in the lower left. Centered to the bottom left. Piedmont back). 2) Bill Dahlen - Brooklyn (EX 60. Very attractive card, with a striking green background, light, even wear to the corners, flawless registration, and well centered. The reverse is perfectly clean with bold red print. Sweet Caporal back). 3) Kid Elberfeld - Washington, Port. (GOOD 30. Very pleasing example, with virtually perfect centering, evenly rounded corners, and some light scuffing. Piedmont advertisement on reverse). 4) Red Kleinow - Boston (VG 40. Centered to the top right, with even wear to the corners, perfect registration, and some light "pimples" in the blue background. Sweet Caporal reverse). 5) Carl Lundgren - Chicago (VG/EX 50. Perfectly clean both front and back, with bold colors, flawless registration, and light, even wear to the corners. Centered to the bottom left. Piedmont back). 6) Frank Smith - Chicago & Boston (VG/EX 50. This team-designation variation has always been recognized as one of the important rarities of the T206 set. Perfectly centered, with even wear to the corners, no creases, and flawless registration. The American Beauty advertisement on the back has bold green print). All six are strong cards with outstanding eye-appeal. The T206 set is universally recognized as the premier tobacco-card issue of the 1910 era.
