Rare program and ticket stub from the first game in Dallas Cowboys franchise history. That historic game which launched the franchise, a preseason contest against the San Francisco 49ers, was held on August 6, 1960 and took place at the University of Washington Stadium in Seattle. The sixteen-page program (7.75 x 10.5 inches) features both rosters and individual photos of each team’s coaching staff and top players, including Tom Landry, Don Meredith, and Eddie LeBaron for Dallas and Red Hickey, Y. A. Tittle, Bob St. Clair, and Hugh McElhenny for San Francisco. Ex-Mt. The ticket stub (4 x 2.25 inches) is affixed to a paper backing, otherwise Ex-Mt.
