To date, only twenty-seven players have amassed 3,000 or more hits in their career. Offered here are four display pieces each signed by more than half the members of that elite fraternity. Bat: A 33.5-inch limited-edition H&B "3000 Hit Club" bat, numbered "90 of 100," signed in blue Sharpie ("9/10") by the following seventeen players: Hank Aaron, Stan Musial, Rickey Henderson, Pete Rose, Wade Boggs, George Brett, Carl Yastrzemski, Dave Winfield, Craig Biggio, Lou Brock, Rod Carew, Robin Yount, Cal Ripken Jr., Willie Mays, Eddie Murray, Rafael Palmeiro, and Al Kaline. Missing only Gwynn and Molitor for modern-day completeness. Mint condition. Ball: An official National League (Coleman) ball signed in blue ink ("9/10") by the following eighteen players: Hank Aaron, Stan Musial, Rickey Henderson, Pete Rose (sweet spot), Wade Boggs, George Brett, Carl Yastrzemski, Dave Winfield, Craig Biggio, Lou Brock, Rod Carew, Robin Yount, Cal Ripken Jr., Willie Mays, Eddie Murray, Paul Molitor, Tony Gwynn, and Al Kaline. Missing only Palmeiro for modern-day completeness. Excellent to Mint condition. Art Poster: 37 x 19.5-inch Ron Lewis art poster signed in blue Sharpie ("10") by Aaron, Brock, Molitor, Yount, Musial, Gwynn, Mays, Boggs, Brett, Winfield, Rose, Kaline, Henderson, Carew, Yastrzemski, Murray, and Ripken (although Gywnn, Molitor, Boggs, Henderson, and Ripken have signed the poster, they are not pictured in the print). Mint condition. Lithograph: 39 x 26.25-inch limited-edition lithograph (numbered "84/285") signed in blue Sharpie ("10") by Aaron, Brock, Molitor, Yount, Musial, Gwynn, Mays, Boggs, Brett, Winfield, Rose, Kaline, Henderson, Carew, Yastrzemski, Murray, and Ripken (although Gywnn, Boggs, Henderson, and Ripken have signed the piece, they are not pictured in the lithograph). Issued in 1997 by All American Collectibles Inc. This is a very substantial and high-quality piece. The top border has been slightly trimmed and there is tape residue along the borders from the piece having once been previously mounted. All of these minor condition flaws can be easily matted out and the piece is otherwise in Excellent to Mint condition. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Total: 4 items (bat, ball, and two prints).
