1952 to 1954 Topps "Shoebox" Collection Including Stars (311)

"Shoebox" collection of 311 Topps baseball cards, spanning the years 1952 to 1954, highlighted by numerous stars and key cards, including 1952 Topps #261 Willie Mays, 1953 Topps #1 Jackie Robinson, and 1954 Topps #94 Ernie Banks rookie card. We have selected four cards to be graded by PSA. 1) 1952 Topps (47 cards): twenty-seven cards range from Good to Vg-Ex (averaging Vg), twenty in lesser grades. Keys: #49 Sain/cor. (Vg), 57 Lopat (Gd), 67 Reynolds (Vg), 268 Lemon (Vg), 122 Jensen (Vg), 129 Mize (Pr), and 261 Mays (PSA VG 3). 2) 1953 Topps Partial Set (175 of 274 cards): 75% range in grade from Vg to Vg-Ex, and 25% grade Gd to Gd-Vg (includes a few slightly lesser). Keys: #3 Irvin (Vg), 7 Klu (Vg), 10 Robinson (PSA EX 5), 30 Mathews (Vg-Ex), 32 Snider (Fr), 36 Wilhelm (Fr), 45 Ashburn (Vg-Ex), 50 Berra (Vg-Ex), and 94 Banks RC (PSA EX 5). This is a very substantial original-owner mixed-grade collection of early 1950s bubble-gum cards, which has been stored away for many years, completely unpicked, including many highlights and several of the key cards of the era.
