1934-1941 PSA-Graded Hall of Famer Gum-Card Collection (3)

Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $1,880.00

Collection of three high-grade key Hall of Famer cards from three different 1934-1941 bubble-gum card sets, highlighted by an exceptional 1934 Goudey #6 Dizzy Dean and Pee Wee Reese's rookie card. Each card has been submitted by REA to be graded and encapsulated by PSA: 1) 1934 Goudey: #6 Dizzy Dean (EX-MT 6, bright and crisp, perfectly clean both front and back, square corners, beautifully centered, particularly sharp-looking example of one of Dizzy Dean's greatest cards). 2) 1935 Diamond Stars: #44 Rogers Hornsby (EX 5). 3) 1941 Play Ball: #54 Pee Wee Reese (RC, NM 7, centered 65/35 R/L). This is a very attractive group of Hall of Famers from three classic prewar issues, assembled one card at a time as a representative selection of key cards by a very dedicated and condition-conscious longtime collector. SMR value is $1,925. Total 3 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500+. SOLD FOR $1,880.00
