Starting Bid - $200.00, Sold For - $352.50

Elton Brand Los Angeles Clippers home uniform dating to the 2004/05 season. The white mesh jersey is lettered “Clippers” across the front and features the number “42” on the front and reverse. “Brand” is lettered on the reverse above the number. All front letters are appliquéd in three-color tackle twill (red/white/blue). All reverse letters are appliquéd in red tackle twill. All numerals are appliquéd in red on blue tackle twill. Situated on the left front tail are a “Reebok” label, a “52” size tag, a “2004-2005” year tag, and a flag tag that reads “+4 Length.” Brand’s uniform number, “42,” is written in black marker on the manufacturer’s label. The Clippers team logo is embroidered at the base of the front collar and an NBA patch appears on the left breast. The matching white shorts feature the Clippers team patch on the left leg. A second team patch appears on the rear just below the waistband. An NBA patch adorns the right leg. Located in the waistband are a “Reebok” label, a “46” size tag, and two flag tags that read, respectively, “+1 inseam,” and “+1 Rise.” Brand’s uniform number, “42,” is written in black marker on the manufacturer’s label. Both the jersey and shorts are completely original, with no alterations, and display light use. In 1999 Elton Brand became the first player in Duke history to be selected with the number-one pick in the NBA draft. Brand proved worthy of the selection, as he averaged 20.1 points per game in his rookie season with Chicago. Traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in 2001, he remains one of the league’s top forwards. Brand averaged 20 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in 2004/05. Graded A5 by MEARS (no post-1987 jersey can achieve a higher grade than A5 without additional provenance). LOA from Dave Bushing & Troy Kinunen/MEARS. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$600. SOLD FOR $352.50
