1929-1938 World Series Press Pin Collection (7)

Collection of seven different extremely high-grade World Series press pins spanning the years 1929-1938, all originating from the personal collection of legendary Yankees scout Paul Krichell. Each of the pins is complete with its original threaded-post fasteners intact. New York Yankees: 1932 (Ex), 1936 (Ex-Mt), and 1938 (Ex). Chicago Cubs: 1929 (Nr/Mt), and 1932 (Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt). New York Giants: 1933 (Nr-Mt), and 1936 (Ex). Also included are Paul Krichell's badges for the 1928 and 1936 National Association conventions. The 1928 example is a medallion designed in the shape of a baseball (1.5 inches in diameter), manufactured by H. Rosenthal of Toronto, Canada, which is tarnished but otherwise Excellent. The second badge is a stickpin featuring a ribbon and attached medallion. The pin bears Krichell's name and the scalloped-edged medallion (1.25 inches) displays a baseball motif. Manufactured by J. P. Moncel of Montreal, Canada. Ex-Mt. Sharp-looking group highlighted by exceptional examples of the 1929 and 1932 Cubs press pins, both of which are widely recognized as among the rarer and most desirable pins from this era.
