Joe DiMaggio Signed Items Collection (10)

Offered here is a very diverse collection of Joe DiMaggio signed items from the Barry Halper Collection that Barry chose to keep for one reason or another. All are in Excellent condition unless otherwise noted, and the signatures grade "9/10." 1) New York Yankees ticket stub from Bob Feller's second career no-hitter on April 30, 1946, signed on the front in blue Sharpie. Feller's no-hitter was the first ever against the Yankees at Yankee Stadium. A few ink notations, as well as a blue ink signature (illegible) appear on the reverse (Vg). 2) United States Golf Association "Amateur Status" sheet (8.5 x 11 inches) signed in blue ink by sixteen professional athletes competing in the 1973 American Airlines Golf Classic including Joe DiMaggio, Earl Morrall, Joe Namath, Johnny Bench, Willie Mays, Craig Morton, Daryl Lamonica, Brooks Robinson, Sal Bando, Otto Graham, Bobby Murcer, and Greg Landry. 3) 8 x 10-inch color photo of DiMaggio signed in blue marker on the front (Vg-Ex). 4) 1982 New York Yankees Homecoming Dinner program (6.75 x 7 inches), picturing DiMaggio on the cover, signed on the front in blue Sharpie. 5-6) Two limited edition signed copies of The DiMaggio Albums (the albums were issued in two volume sets). Edited by Richard Whittingham and published in 1989 by G. P. Putnam's Sons. Each copy is signed by DiMaggio in blue ink on the limitation page. One album is numbered "245/700," while the other is numbered "247/700." Both sets are in Near Mint to Mint condition. Please Note: The sets do not include the original slipcases. 7) Access tag (2.25 x 3.5 inches) to the February 20, 1993, Joe DiMaggio Legends Baseball Game, signed on the front in blue Sharpie. The tag is laminated and comes with an attached clip. 8) Joe DiMaggio playing card (2.5 x 3.5 inches), from an unidentified game, signed on the front in blue Sharpie (Vg). 9) Full New York Yankees ticket (5.5 x 1.25 inches) from a game on August 19, 1939 (game number 56), signed on the reverse in blue marker. Slight abrasion and pencil notation on reverse (Vg-Ex). 10) 11 x 14-inch color photo of DiMaggio signed in black ink. The photographic print displays a heavy horizontal crease, as well other light creases. (Gd-Vg). From the Barry Halper Collection. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Total: 10 items. Reserve $500.
