Gigantic Collection of Deceased Ballplayer Autographs on 3 x 5 Cards (810)

Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $4,640.00

Enormous collection of 810 signed index cards includes 47 Hall of Famers and many other notable former diamond standouts, all of whom are now deceased. The playing careers of the individuals represented here (a few umpires are also included) span nearly the entire past century, from the early 1900s to the 1980s. There are 810 signed cards total, with no duplicates. Signatures, penned in a variety of inks (including a few felt-tip or Sharpie) range from "8" to "10" in grade. This is truly a substantial collection of signatures and one that took many years to amass. As noted previously, all of these players are deceased, thus making this a collection with many scarce and rare signatures as well.
