The collection is accompanied by fifty-one copies of Library of Congress documents, the originals of which are on file at the U.S. Copyright Office. These copies were ordered by our consignor in 1990 while researching the history of the Goudey copyright cards. Each of the three-page documents represents a single card in this lot and is ideal for display with its corresponding card. With some exceptions, most of the copyright submission cards have an overall Excellent appearance, though because of the Copyright Office stampings on the reverse and the handcut that is natural to these cards, all are graded "Authentic" by PSA. The copyright registration cards are overall in Excellent to Mint condition. Total 216 items (108 copyright submission cards plus 108 copyright registration cards). Reserve $2,500. Estimate (open).
