1909 T204 Ramly Mordecai Brown and Johnny Evers (2)
Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $3,770.00
Presented are two Hall of Famers from the classic T204 Ramly set, each graded and encapsulated by SGC: 1) Mordecai Brown is graded EX/NM 80. This is a beautiful super high-grade example. Close examination reveals just the slightest hint of white at the extreme tips of the corners. The gold borders are without any white showing whatsoever. Perfect image quality. This is a gorgeous card. 2) Johnny Evers is graded FAIR 20. The card displays the most minute hints of white in the corners and at the extreme edge of the top border. Very well-centered. This card has been downgraded by SGC strictly due to a blue ink-stamp on the reverse which reads "Harold A. Perris of Lake George (Antiques)" and a tiny remnant of scrapbook paper on the reverse; it is otherwise a solid Ex-Mt card. These are two very attractive examples of Hall of Famers from this extremely condition-sensitive set. Total 2 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000. SOLD FOR $3,770.00
