1909 T204 Ramly Hall of Fame PSA Collection (3)
Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $2,610.00
Collection of three Hall of Famers from the 1909 T204 Ramly set. All three cards have been graded and encapsulated by PSA: 1) Chief Bender (EX 5). Well centered with just a slight hint of even corner wear. Clean both front and back, and with a boldly printed reverse. 2 & 3) Clark Griffith (GOOD 2) and Bobby Wallace (GOOD 2). It is immediately obvious upon viewing that these two extraordinary examples appear to be in strong Nr/Mt condition. The cards were long ago mounted in an album, and were very carefully removed. Close examination reveals the most minute pinpoint areas of surface paper loss on the reverse of Griffith, and a small area of paper loss affecting the "A" and "M" of "Ramly" on the reverse of Wallace. This was the sole basis for PSA's downgrading of these two cards. Aside from these minor flaws, the cards are in solid Near Mint condition. Both the Wallace and Griffith cards are bright, perfectly clean and crisp, and with sharp corners. This is a very impressive looking collection of three T204 Ramly Tobacco Hall of Famers. Total 3 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500. SOLD FOR $2,610.00
