Andy Warhol's famed "Campbell Soup Cans" are perhaps the most famous of all pop art images. First created in 1962, Warhol's famed soup cans came to define the pop art movement of the era and helped to make his name a household word. In response to the overwhelming popularity of those images, Warhol later produced a series of silkscreen prints featuring his famous soup cans. Offered is one of those prints from his Soup II Series produced in 1969. This particular print, which is an unnumbered artist's proof, features a can of Campbell's "Tomato Beef Noodles" and has been signed by Warhol in black ink on the reverse. These silkscreen Warhol prints are extremely popular and universally recognized as pop art classics.
