The Jackson 5 Signed Contract and Photo In Framed Display

This large framed display is comprised of a two-page contract and publicity photo, each signed by all five members of the famed recording group The Jacksons (originally known as The Jackson 5). 1) Two-page contract, dated January 1, 1979 between The Jacksons and Regency Artists, Ltd. Among the provisions included in the agreement are its exclusivity with regard to representation (Regency Artists is to be the group's sole agent) and the price of such service (10 percent commission fee). A clause calling for a higher commission fee for concerts and lectures has been crossed out. The contract has been signed by all five members of The Jacksons in blue ink: "Sigmund Jakie Jackson," "Toriano Jackson," "Marlon D. Jackson," "Michael Jackson" and "Steven Randy Jackson." The contract has also been signed by a representative of Regency Artists. All of the signatures grade "10" and the contract (8.5 x 11 inches) is in Excellent to Mint condition, with a staple hole and two notebook holes along the top of each page. 2) 1984 Epic Records publicity photo for The Jacksons' Victory album. The photo (10 x 8 inches) pictures all five members of the group and has been signed by each in blue Sharpie ("10") in the area of his respective image. Near Mint condition. The Victory album was the last group project to include Michael Jackson, who soon rocketed to international stardom as a solo performer. The pieces have been beautifully matted and framed together to total dimensions of 36.5 x 18.5 inches. LOA from Steve Grad & John Reznikoff/PSA DNA. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000.
