1951 Parkhurst Hockey High-Grade PSA Collection (5)

Starting Bid - $300.00, Sold For - $812.00

Collection of five extraordinarily high-grade 1951 Parkhurst Hockey cards, each graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. The soft paper stock of 1951 Parkhurst Hockey makes the corners and edges of these cards particularly sensitive to wear, and nearly impossible to collect in high grade. This collection of five Near Mint to Mint cards makes it possible, at least for these five cards: #25 Laycoe (Boston), 27 Sullivan (Boston), 30 Brown (Boston), 39 Martin (Chicago), and 95 Ronty (New York). All are perfectly centered, with razor-sharp corners and flawless registration. Each of these five cards, as of this writing, have only a single example ever graded higher by PSA. The five cards currently list for a total of $775 in SMR, but it is our experience that the market usually values the most extraordinarily high-grade vintage cards at a substantial premium to SMR, especially those from extremely condition-sensitive sets. Total 5 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $812.00
