1951-1952 Parkhurst #4 Maurice Richard GAI NM+ 7.5

Starting Bid - $400.00, Sold For - $812.00

Graded NM+ 7.5 by GAI. Exceptionally crisp high-grade rookie card of Hall of Famer Maurice Richard from the classic 1951-1952 Parkhurst set. 1951-1952 Parkhurst cards typically suffer from a variety of condition problems, including print defects and a tendency to have soft corners, which make high-grade examples particularly difficult to find. (Some collectors understandably think these cards were issued with soft corners!) The offered example is perfectly centered, with four sharp corners (just a hint of wear in the lower right), bright colors, and a flawless image. They just don't come much nicer than this. Perfectly clean on both the front and the blank-back reverse. This is a very sharp, crisp, high-grade example of this important rookie card which is one of the key cards in the extremely condition-sensitive 1951-1952 Parkhurst set. Reserve $400. Estimate $800/$1,200. SOLD FOR $812.00
