Two Wade Boggs Signed Pro Model Bats and Signed Cleats (2)

Offered are two Wade Boggs pro-model bats and a pair of Wade Boggs game-used black Nike cleats, each signed by the Hall of Fame third baseman. 1) 1986-89 Louisville Slugger signature model "C235" bat. Dating from his years with the Boston Red Sox, the bat features Boggs' uniform number ("26") written on the knob in black marker and is signed in blue Sharpie ("9/10") on the sweet spot of the barrel. The cupped-end bat is not cracked and displays heavy use in the form of numerous, deeply embedded ball marks, rack marks, and a substantial amount of pine tar on the upper handle. Length: 34.5 inches. Weight: 31 ounces. Graded 8.5 by MEARS (base grade of 5, plus 3 points for use and an additional half-point for the number on the knob). 2) 1999 Rawlings block letter (full name) model "456 EM" bat dating from Boggs' final season in the Majors. The bat features Boggs' uniform number ("12") written on the knob in black marker and is inscribed "Wade Boggs 99" in black Sharpie ("8") on the sweet spot of the barrel. The bat is not cracked and displays heavy use including ball marks and light pine tar residue on the handle. Boggs finished his career in 1999 with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Length: 34.25 inches. Weight: 32.5 ounces. Graded A8 by MEARS (base grade of 5, plus 3 points for use). 3) Pair of black Nike cleats worn by Boggs during his two-year tenure with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Each shoe (size 11) features Boggs' uniform number ("12") embroidered on the tongue in white stitching. Boggs has signed each cleat in white marker ("7") on the top, front, mesh portion of the shoe. Both cleats display moderate to heavy use. LOAs from Dave Bushing & Troy Kinunen/MEARS and James Spence/JSA and Steve Grad, Mike Gutierrez & Zach Rullo/PSA DNA.
