1928 New York Yankees Team-Signed BaseBall

Official American League (Barnard) baseball is signed by the 1928 New York Yankees, including a particularly impressive Babe Ruth ("8") signature on the sweet spot. Lou Gehrig has also signed with a extraordinarily large and impressive signature ("7/8") on the adjacent side panel with the Reach logo stamping. The other fifteen signatures range in grade from "5" to "9": Tony Lazzeri ("Tony" grades "9", last name grades "2" due to abrasion), Mark Koenig ("5"), Earle Combs ("6"), Waite Hoyt ("6"), Benny Bengough ("9"), Johnny Grabowski ("7/8"), Ben Paschal ("7"), Joe Dugan ("8"), Myles Thomas ("8"), George Pipgras ("7/8"), Doc Woods (trainer) ("9"), Mike Gazella ("8"), Pat Collins ("7/8"), Cedric Durst ("5"), and Wilcy Moore ("6"). This is an uncommonly high-quality team-signed ball of one of the Yankees greatest lineups. The ball is in overall about Excellent condition with a very light coat of protective shellac. The manufacturer's stampings are incredibly bold and vibrant, contributing to this 1928 Yankees team ball's exceptionally impressive display value.
