1918 John H. (Honus) Wagner Signed Check

Full canceled Honus Wagner check in the amount of $8.95 is drawn on The First National Bank of Carnegie and dated March 8, 1918. The check is made payable to "W.M. Scott & Co." (endorsed with ink stamp on the reverse) and is beautifully signed in black fountain pen, "John H. Wagner" ("10"). The check has a normal light vertical foldline and two diagonal creases, one of which runs through the "H" in Wagner's signature. Very Good condition. This is an exceptionally early Honus Wagner check dating from the very first year following his retirement as a player. LOAs from Mike Gutierrez/GAI and James Spence & Steve Grad/PSA DNA.
