1934-1936 R327 Diamond Stars Complete Set SGC Graded (108)

Starting Bid - $2,500.00, Sold For - $10,440.00

Extremely attractive medium to high-grade complete set of R327 Diamond Stars. This classic 1930s gum card issue includes thirty-three Hall of Famers, and is highlighted by the twelve rare high number series cards (#97 thru 108) which have always made this issue so difficult to complete. The complete set of 108 cards has been graded in its entirety by SGC (with the exception of three cards: #3 Maranville and #5, which are not trimmed but could not be encapsulated by SGC due to minmium size requirements, and #108 which was rejected by SGC due to slight trim). The SGC grading report is as follows: NM/MT 88 (5 cards): #43 Lyons, 47, 52, 58, and 76. NM+ 86 (4 cards): #32 Rice, 38, 48 Ferrell, and 69. NM 84 (16 cards): #16 L.
