1933 Goudey #213 Earl Adams PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $300.00, Sold For - $1,392.00

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. One of only eight examples graded at this level with none graded higher. Sparky Adams hit over .300 twice in the Major Leagues and played in the 1930 and 1931 World Series as a Cardinal. This card has a crystal clear image with perfect registration. Adams practically "jumps off" the green background. All four corners are square, with virtually flawless reverse and centering slightly towards the top border (40/60 T/B). We have found that the auction selling prices of cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as 1933 Goudey. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $1,392.00
