Three Stooges Signed Letter Handwritten by Moe Howard

Moe Howard one-page handwritten letter, with exceptional historical content regarding "The Three Stooges," on his personal letterhead (8.5 x 11 inches) featuring a humorous image of The Three Stooges being held aloft by a balloon along the left margin. The "alpha-Stooge," Moe Howard, writes to a fan: "Dear Barbara, Thank you so very much for your very sweet letter. We always appreciate hearing from our special Fans. it is so very difficult for us to answer all the mail we get. No one by we, do the answering of our mail. It would be so simple to pay a fan mail answering service to do the answering, as most of the stars do, but we just can't do that. so it takes so much longer to accomplish it. Joe Besser joined us in 1956. Curly was born in 1906 Shemp was born in 1901 We are all almost the same height - 5 feet 4 inches. yes Moe's name is really Moe! There were 210 movies made altogether from 1934 to 1958. They were all in Black & White. the 3 Stooges started in 1925. Yes the first Movie was called Woman Haters that is the first one of those you see on T.V. we did make 6 for M.G.M. in 1933 - two of which were in color, but those have not yet been released. Woman Haters took 5 days to make. but it generally takes 3 weeks to prepare and 3 weeks or more to finish up. we hope in the not too distant future to play in New Haven again. We played the Arena there in I believe 1942 or 1944. A Happy New Year to you and thank you again Sincerely Moe Howard the 3 Stooges Moe Larry Curly Joe." Signature and all writing in ballpoint, all very neat and bold ("10"). An icon of physical comedy, Moe Howard will forever be imitated by future generations attempting to capture but a fraction of his brilliance. This is a tremendous handwritten letter by Moe Howard with exceptional content. A few tape marks at margins, otherwise in Excellent condition.
