1929 Orville Wright Signed Letter

Brothers Orville and Wilbur Wright built and flew the first manned, motor-powered heavier-than-air craft. The first flight, with Orville at the controls, took place at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, on December 17, 1903. This one-page typed letter (7.25 x 10.25 inches), dated November 21, 1929, is signed by aviation pioneer Orville Wright in black fountain pen. The signature rates a "9" overall. The letter reads: My dear Mr. Algie: Many thanks for the monogram in memory of my brother, Wilbur Wright, which I am pleased to receive. Sincerely yours, Orville Wright. This is a particularly interesting Orville Wright letter as he is specifically referencing his brother Wilbur. Typed on Wright's personal stationery, the letter has two mailing fold lines and two filing hole punches at the top border, otherwise in Excellent to Near Mint condition.
