Ten United States $20 gold pieces include six Saint-Gaudens and four Liberty Double Eagles. All are graded and encapsulated by NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation). 1) Saint-Gaudens $20 Gold (6 coins): 1924 (MS63), three 1924 (all MS62), 1927 (MS62), and 1928 (MS61). 2) Liberty Double Eagles (4 coins): 1890-S (MS60), 1899 (MS61), 1904 (MS62), and 1906-D (MS61). This is a very impressive collection of these extremely popular gold issues. These are beautiful high-grade Mint state uncirculated examples of these numismatic classics, which can be appreciated both for the great artistry of their production, as well as serve as a traditional store of value. The recent surge in gold prices underscores the potential value of Saint-Gaudens and Liberty Double Eagles as an investment vehicle. The gold content of each coin is one ounce, but these gorgeous coins are appreciated by collectors not just for their substantial gold content, but also for their great historical value and stunning designs. The total gold weight for the coins in this collection is ten ounces. Total 10 coins. Reserve $1,500. Estimate $3,000/$5,000. SOLD FOR $5,220.00
