1991-1997 Paul O'Neill Pro Model Bat

This Louisville Slugger model C243 is signed and inscribed "Paul O'Neill - '94 Batting Champ" ("9") in blue Sharpie to the left of the barrel stampings. The bat shows evidence of heavy game use including ball, stitch, cleat, and bat rack marks covering the barrel. O'Neill's player number "21" is written on the knob end in black marker. The cracked handle (approx. 13 inches) has white tape in a crisscross pattern that runs approximately 16.5 inches from the knob towards the centerbrand label. H&B shipping records indicate that these bats were first ordered by O'Neill on 5/3/93. For six consecutive seasons, 1993 to 1998, O'Neill batted over .300 and was one of the most feared hitters in the American League. Length: 34.75 inches. Weight: 35.7 ounces.
