1963 Topps "Beverly Hillbillies" Original Card Artwork

Starting Bid - $200.00, Sold For - $460.00

Original artwork from the 1963 Topps "Beverly Hillbillies" set, based on the popular T.V. show. This is the actual original flexichrome artwork used to produce card #40, entitled "Who Says My Coat Ain't In Style" and featuring Jed Clampett. The Beverly Hillbillies was a sensation in 1963, and one of the few television shows of the early 1960s to survive with its popularity intact to this day. The Topps set issued in 1963 is, not surprisingly, extremely popular with collectors. Original artworks from the set are very rare. The offered artwork is an ideal example, and is accompanied by the issued card. The original artwork (measuring 2.5 x 3.5 inches) and issued card are matted together, ideal for display and ready for framing. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$600. SOLD FOR $460.00
