Extremely high quality collection of twelve Presidential signatures on checks, letters, photographs, and cards, one multisigned photograph, and one First Lady signed photograph, includes the following: 1) Woodrow Wilson: one-page typed letter on his personal stationery (7.5 x 9.5 inches) is dated August 16, 1912. Signed "Woodrow Wilson" ("8") in brown ink. Content relates to Wilson politely declining to sit for a portrait due to current demands on his time. Ex with natural mailing folds, beautifully matted with non-vintage portrait photograph, ready for framing. 2) William Taft: Gorgeous sepia-tone professional studio cabinet-style portrait photograph (12 x 9 inches) copyright 1909 by Moffit Studio, Chicago, is beautifully inscribed, signed, and dated by Taft in the lower margin "To Miss Ida F. Dumont with best wishes - Wm Taft June 24 1910" ("9"). Extremely high quality large-format signed presentation photograph. In Near Mint condition. 3) William McKinley: one-page typed letter on his personal stationery (8 x 5.5 inches) expressing congratulations is dated June 30, 1896. Boldly signed "Wm McKinley" ("8") in brown ink. Ex. 4) Calvin Coolidge: signature card (3.75 x 2.5 inches) preprinted "The White House Washington" in upper left, signed "Calvin Coolidge" ("8") in black ink. Ex-Mt. Beautifully matted with non-vintage photographic print and ready to frame. 5) Grover Cleveland: signature card (4.25 x 3 inches) preprinted "Executive Mansion, Washington" at top, flawlessly signed "Grover Cleveland" ("10") in black ink. Ex-Mt. Beautifully matted with non-vintage photographic print and ready to frame. 6) Harry Truman: full cancelled City Bank of Kansas City personal check dated April 25, 1925 and payable to a "Miss Catherine Righing" in the amount of $20 is signed "Harry Truman" ("9") in brown ink. Bank cancellations do not affect near flawless signature. Check is Ex-Mt with several very light vertical folds. Beautifully matted with non-vintage photographic print and ready to frame. 7) Herbert Hoover: Professional matte photographic portrait (6.75 x 8.75) of an older Hoover is beautifully inscribed and signed in lower margin "To Admiral Lleland Lovette with the good wishes of Herbert Hoover" ("8/9") in black fountain pen. Some trivial edge soiling, otherwise Ex-Mt with flawless contrast. 8) Franklin Roosevelt: sepia-tone matte-finish portrait photograph (8 x 10 inches) boldly signed ("9") in the lower margin in black ink. A few trivial edge flaws from framing, still in Excellent condition. 9) Dwight Eisenhower: Professional presentation studio portrait (14 x 11 inches) signed in the margin "Dwight Eisenhower" ("7/8") in black ink above the printed salutation "For The St. Francis DeSales School with best wishes,". A few small creases in corners of margin otherwise in Excellent condition. 10) Ronald Reagan: signature card (3.25 x 5 inches) with embossed Presidential seal, signed "Ronald Reagan" ("9") in black ink above preprinted caption identifying him as President of the United States. Mint. Beautifully matted with color photograph and small woven flag (3.5 x 2 inches). 11) Gerald Ford: Official Presidential color portrait photograph (8 x 10 inches) of Ford in the Oval Office is personalized and signed "To Phillip L. Woody, with appreciation and best wishes, Gerald R. Ford" ("8") in black ink in the lower margin. Mint. Matted and ready for framing. 12) Bill Clinton: Official Presidential color portrait photograph (8 x 10 inches) of Clinton in the Oval Office with calligraphic salutation "To Phillip L. Woody" is signed "Thanks so much, Bill Clinton" ("10") in black ink in the lower margin. Mint. Matted and ready for framing. 13) Ford, Carter, Reagan: Presentation photograph (8 x 10 inches) is signed by Ford, Carter, and Reagan (each "10s"). Mint. Nixon also appears in the photograph but has not signed. Calligraphic salutation reads "To Phillip L. Woody With Best Wishes." Beautifully presented with flag matting. 14) Nancy Reagan: Portrait photograph (8 x 10 inches) signed "To Phillip Woody Best Wishes, Nancy Reagan" ("10"). Mint. This is a tremendous high-quality collection assembled piece by piece by Phillip Woody, a very dedicated collector of many years, with each piece ideal for framing and display.
