1951 Parkhurst Hockey Complete Set (105)

Starting Bid - $2,500.00, Sold For - $7,475.00

Outstanding high-grade complete set of 1951 Parkhurst Hockey, one of Hockey collecting's most highly prized card sets, highlighted by key rookie cards of #4 Maurice Richard, #61 Terry Sawchuck, and #66 Gordie Howe. The fragile stock and natural soft corners of this issue make high-grade sets of this important issue especially difficult to assemble. The complete set of 105 cards has been professionally graded and encapsulated by Global Authentication. Many cards appear far nicer than the assigned grades, and despite the range of grades, the set presents with a remarkable degree of consistency in terms of condition. The complete GAI condition report follows: Two NM+ 7.5: #'s 14 Geoffrion (RC) and 44. Eight NM 7: #'s 1 Lach, 18, 50, 54, 59, 65, 71, and 98.
