1987 Eddie Murray Baltimore Orioles Game-Used Road Jersey
Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $3,162.50
Eddie Murray wore this road jersey in 1987 while playing for the Baltimore Orioles. For career offensive numbers, Eddie Murray has had few peers and was one of the most productive and consistent hitters in baseball history. In 1996, he joined legends Hank Aaron and Willie Mays as the only players to amass both 3,000 hits and 500 home runs. This jersey is an ideal gamer, from the personal collection of the Orioles 1987 pre-game and post-game show host (additional letter from host accompanies). "Orioles" appears across the front of the jersey, below which is the player number "33." On the back, "Murray" appears on a gray nameplate, above the player number "33." On the inside left tail is the "Rawlings" label with the size "46," and a gray patch reading "1 87" (representing the set number and year, respectively). The jersey shows excellent game use and has no alterations. LOA from Dave Bushing & Dan Knoll/SCD Authentic. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000. SOLD FOR $3,162.50
